From Western Australia’s picturesque south coast, Drift has built a reputation as a leading landscape studio, celebrated for its contextual and horticulture-driven designs. We were commissioned to develop a new identity that would not only better reflect their distinctive approach but also elevate their visual language, appealing to a discerning clientele of architects and design-aware homeowners.
      The resulting branding leverages a distinctive typeface combination and a sometimes surprising use of negative space to curate a dynamic and refined visual experience. This considered approach confidently establishes Drift as a high-end yet approachable design practice, conveying prestige without ostentation.
     Contrasting the brand’s more pared-back elements, a series of photographic images were commissioned to highlight individual plant species found within Drift’s landscapes. These images visually represent Drift’s scientific and highly considered approach to contextual planting and demonstrate the team’s vast horticultural knowledge. Serving as starting points for conversation and showcasing plants as a unique objects of beauty, these images unify the brand language across physical and digital applications.
